We are excited to announce this North East Marathon, Half marathon and 10k will be returning to the closed roads of Newcastle and Gateshead on Sunday 3rd May presented by Nuun and in support of the Bubble Foundation.
These ROAD CLOSED courses take in the famous landmarks of Gateshead including Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Sage Gateshead, BALTIC, Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge and finishes in the iconic Gateshead International Stadium.
THE VENUE
The venue has hosted IAAF Diamond & Golden League Athletics and the European Cup featuring the superstars of athletics. You will be joining many World Champions & Olympians have crossed the finish line at Gateshead International Stadium where five world records broken in track and field on the famous track.
THE COURSE
This ROAD CLOSED course takes in the famous landmarks of Gateshead including Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Sage Gateshead, BALTIC, Tyne Bridge, Swing Bridge and finishing in the iconic Gateshead International Stadium and finishing by running around the track and crossing the finish line cheered home by family and friends.
